I bought this car in late 2024 when my usual car broke down and I urgently needed something to tide me over for a few weeks.
I got a new wishbone installed to pass an NCT at that time. I used it then for maybe 6 weeks during which it was faultless and then it was parked up. That NCT expired in September 2025.
Last week I had it NCTd again. It failed on handbrake performance which I fixed and it passed the retest today. Everything else passed first time.
The car has extremely low mileage for the year. The engine and gearbox run as new. The elderly owner prior to me owned the car for 13 years and appears to have used it little and serviced it well over that time.
The body does have the marks of a 23 year old car. 1 rear electric window currently doesn't work and the air con doesn't work, presumably needing a regas. Everything else is fine.
It's ready to go to a new home and will get someone out of a jam same as it did for me!
