2009 Honda Accord for spares or repairs
2009 Honda accord 2.2 diesel for spares or repairs.
It was lying up for a couple years when I bought it and wasn’t running. I’ve replaced the fuel pump and put a service kit into it and she is now running but not running very well atall.
The car starts no problem, although the battery is dead and needs a new battery or a jump, I can use a battery from my jeep to show it running.
On startup the car is very shaky, idles away fine but shaky. But the real problem is when you press the accelerator or bring it on a drive it gets excessively Smokey.. very quickly. I mean very excessively smoky, would 100% need to be trailered away.

I bought it as a non runner hoping it would just need a service and basic maintenance and I could give it to the Mrs but needs works that are beyond my expertise. It’s an awful pitty it’s running poor because it’d a lovely high spec car and has all the bells and whistles.
I’m off to college in September so have no time or energy free to put into the car. Hopefully someone else can get it right or if not I’m sure there are a lot of good parts on it.
Would swap or PX for an older heavy motorcycle that I could use for college but nothing that would be worth robbing lol. Dublin City and motorcycles ain’t a good combo.
