2006 Ford Focus
St focus for sale just had the engine rebuilt 1000kms ago
Had the clocks sorted and re soldered
Just passed the nct
Got new brake pads and disks breaking system serviced
I bought the car two years ago it was in storage before that since 2015 I drove it maybe 500 kilometres and it started to overheat
I got the head skimmed the block is aluminium so got that skimmed too it got all new gaskets timing belt and water pump it got a new 3 piece clutch new up rated head bolts this rebuild cost €4800 once there right the Volvo 2.5turbo engine is bulletproof
The brakes got a complete overhaul new discs and pads on the front new servo the ST is set up that the front right brakes and rear left brake together and vice versa the distributor unit was changed costing €1060 all in
I ran the car through a test in July and she passed
It’s completely original apart from the exhaust system she sounds the job with the 5 pot engine she pops and bangs
The interior is completely original no aftermarket parts
Original radio
Immaculate blue and black recaro seats
Could do with a new set of car mats
Gear knob shows a bit of ware but everything else working as it should
The speedo started to act up (common problem) with the focus I had the clocks removed and the board re soldered costing 200 blips!
She drives and stops 100% and sounds better than an a s3 for a fraction of the cost
Only getting rid of it because I’ve no room for it and she rarely gets a spin out
I’m open to serious offers but no fools with stupid offers or test pilots
