BMW E34 520i 1995 Automatic
Im thinking of selling my project BMW e34 520i automatic. Car was parked for for some time before I bought it.
Car colour is Sorrento Blue and apparently it’s shadow line
Work I did:
New automatic gearbox with oil and filter and gear selector - old was broken due to parked for long time
Service done including oils, plugs, all filters, water pump, thermostat, housing, aux belts, fan resistor, Cabin filter
Things to do:
Headliner - I have new one
Fuel pump as this is old one - I have brand new
Rocker cover gasket - I have new one
Most likely I’ll do all those bits.
I recently put good tires (dot0324)
I has 16 inch alloys from e39
Grey leather interior
4 electric windows ( all working)
Aircon that I will regas as well as it’s not very cold ( compressor works fine)
Drives very well
No rust under the car. Sills, jacking points all very good
There is some surface rust around the body that was treated with Brunox recently.
It would benefit from full respray
Car was parked 17 years but started straight away.
I have few more parts to go with the car
Reason for selling ? Family. I have much less time to finish it than I thought I will
Car drives very well, all gears , no issues
Maybe I’ll swap for other classic , vintage tax car that doesn’t need much work.
