Alfa Romeo GT 2008
2008, Alfa GT 1.9 JTDM , with 218,000Km ( 136K Miles ) on the clock. It’s a nice metallic grey colour with a dark grey interior with particularly nice Alfa wheels shod with
225/40/18 tyres , standard on the more upmarket model. Its had a lot of maintenance
done in the last 3 years of ownership with this owner which includes:
Timing Belt , water pump, clutch, battery, engine mounts, tank straps, radio , swirl
flaps removed , EGR restriction plate fitted and more recently front shocks and
springs replaced. Many other minor items replaced like bonnet and wheel badges,
locking wheel nuts, etc… The best type of Alfa to buy is one where somebody else
has spent the money on it . To pay a garage to do a clutch costs about 800 euro on
this model and 500 for a cam belt alone. Sadly it has to go to make space for
another Alfa. As you can see, enthusiast owned and cared for. NCT expires in Dec
2026 and it passes every year with only very minor issues during my ownership. If
you read the Alfa GT reviews, the 1.9 JTDm , six speed manual, is the one to go for
and that particular engine is known for its longevity. Its quite lively to drive , with a
nice turbo kick, pulls like a train and goes around corners like its on rails . It’s the 150
bhp /225lbs of torque version but feels like more. Doesn`t use oil or coolant. Service
due @ 220km but done early to have it in good shape for the new owner. Details
available. Reasonably priced for it`s condition at 4,250 Euro o.n.o.
