Tent Vango Heddon 200

Price is fair and set. Camped in once! As good as new otherwise. Rained all night, tent was bone dry in morning.

Vango Heddon is a two-person *trekking pole* tent. See floorplan diagram for size. I recommend a two-person tent even for lone campers. One-person tents feel like coffins, and don't have space for cooking or a big rucksack. This model only weighs 300g more than the tiny one-person model.

Reason for selling:
I have upgraded, and have no need for the tent.

Details:
Many trekking pole tents are 'ultra-light', which often means that they sacrifice being more durable. This one is only *slightly* heavier, but feels much more robust (much less likely to tear, tent feels more storm-proof). This model isn't made anymore, and it was Vango's first model in the category of 'trekking pole tents'.

Who is the tent for:
Not a tent for absolute beginners, but you don't need to be very experienced either. There's a little bit more to setting them up, but after pitching it once, it makes sense. There are a million videos online to help with this. This style of tent keeps pack weight much lower for camping/hiking.

Another reason it's not for beginners is that you need trekking/hiking poles to set it up.

(Note: It's stored properly in a dry place. I don't store it compressed like the last photo makes it seem. That photo it to just show how small it can get for your pack. It can be made even smaller, but I wanted the tent model to be visible for the photo).

Total weight: 1.9kg. I have had great success with Vango over the years.
