The Honest Bits (So no time-wasters):
❌ Exterior: Painted matte army green — great camouflage for off-grid / festivals / amongst trees (we called him Hank the Tank). Bodywork is rough/tatty up close, not a show van. Some dings and flaking as per photos. Suits someone who wants a useable camper not a polish-queen.
❌ Underneath: Has had a lot of welding over the years — now solid and MOT'd, but buyer can see it's been done.
❌ Water Heater: Carver Cascade 2 hot water boiler — 230v element fitted but needs the thermal cut-out (Carver part 60046, about £8 on eBay) to get hot water on electric and gas. Works on cold, we just didn't get around to the £8 part. Gas habitation tested in 2021.
Also inverter needs a fuse inside the box.
