This is a genuine Olympus battery, not a cheap aftermarket replacement. Most photographers know that original camera batteries are usually more reliable and often hold charge better than many new Chinese alternatives.
Very useful spare battery for Olympus OM-D cameras, especially for longer shooting sessions or when using a battery grip.

@bINNIe23 Hi, I don’t have equipment to measure the exact remaining capacity. I was using this battery a couple of months ago before selling my E-M1, and it was working reliably. From my experience with the E-M1 over many years, original Olympus batteries last much better than generic replacement batteries. I bought some of those before and they died quite quickly, while the originals kept working properly. This battery still holds charge well in normal use, but I can’t honestly give an exact measured percentage without a proper tester.

cab you provide an actual measured remaining capacity. Lithium-ion batteries deteriorate with calendar age as well as charge cycles, so even one that hasn’t been heavily used can have substantially reduced capacity after that many years.
