English Edwardian Sheraton Revival Inlaid Mahogany China Cabinet, Circa 1895

English Edwardian Sheraton Revival Inlaid Mahogany China Cabinet, Circa 1895 English Edwardian Sheraton Revival Inlaid Mahogany China Cabinet, Circa 1895 Cabinets

Beautiful antique English Edwardian Sheraton Revival inlaid mahogany china/display cabinet, believed to date from circa 1895.

This is a family heirloom which belonged to my grandmother and was in her guest house in Kerry from at least the 1970s. Unfortunately, I no longer have a suitable place for it in my home.

The cabinet is a particularly attractive example, featuring an arched gallery, decorative inlay, three glazed doors and a bowed/curved glass centre section.

From my research, I have found an apparently identical cabinet – including virtually identical dimensions – attributed to **Henry Barker Ltd., Cabinetmakers & Upholsterers of Nottingham, England**, and dated circa 1895. The comparable cabinet carries the original Henry Barker maker's plate.

I have not been able to locate a Henry Barker label or plate on my cabinet, so I cannot guarantee the maker and it is being sold as an English Edwardian Sheraton Revival cabinet, with the Henry Barker attribution based on comparison and my own research.

The cabinet is in good antique condition for its age, with some minor marks and bumps consistent with age and use. The glass, including the attractive curved centre glass, is fully intact. There is a key with one of the doors and both opening doors operate correctly.

**Dimensions:**
Height: 188 cm
Width: 122 cm
Depth: 38 cm

A very attractive and increasingly unusual piece of late-19th-century English furniture, suitable as a china cabinet, drinks cabinet or general display cabinet.

**Price: €950**

Collection only due to its size and glass construction.
