We got this from someone, really love the piece, sanded it and did a great paint job on it with 3 coats of paint plus lacquer on top 2 coats.
But after a while a musty smell started coming out of it. It’s not too bad but it is noticeable. It’s due to sanding it and we didn’t know you normally have o apply some solution after this.
Some solutions are airing it outside, washing with vinegar etc but at the minute we don’t have enough time to do anything about it,so giving it away
