@Suresh ms: sorry I was busy all day yesterday. yes there is an insert in it for newborns. how old will your baby be when you plan to travel? regarding the plane, you have to check with your particular airline what their rules are. one thing is sure, it is foldable but it's 1 piece, you cannot separate a part & make it a baby carrier basket.. this is a feature of a travel system (3 in 1 etc.) they're usually a lot more expensive (new ones we're talking about hundreds of euros).
