Wooden flute
Mid to late nineteenth century flute made in rosewood with one nickel sliver key. It is not stamped with a name but looks a lot like a Butler flute. There is a long mark on the head part which looks like it may have been a crack but there's no evidence of it on the inside and the part is air tight so it may be just a score. There is a crack in the nickel silver ring at the bottom but the ring stays put. It is nominally an F instrument but is a high pitch F as was the norm at the time. The joints could do with some thread and wax but other than that it's ready to play.
There's no case but it will be well packed.
