New Thornton Whistle in D

I have been making tin whistles, or penny whistles, for 20 years now and here is another.
This is the 6th version of D whistles that I have produced so I have unofficially called it the V6.
These whistles are made to very accurate specifications and I make certain adjustments to each individual whistle to improve the tone and tuning. I finely cut angles, or chamfers, at the entrance and exit of the windway to improve the airflow which can vastly improve the tone. I also use very fine tools to smooth the inside of the note holes to create a slightly more mellow tone.
