Vintage Soda Syphon from A & R Thwaites & Co
Genuine vintage soda syphon from A&R Thwaites & Co / Mineral Waters Distributors Ltd, Dublin. This classic Irish piece dates to the 1930s–1940s era, with beautiful etched detailing including “TRADE MARK A&R Thwaites & Co”, shamrocks, and the iconic Irish harp motif (visible in close-ups).
The glass is clear with the original inner tube intact, and it has the period chrome/pewter-style top with lever and spout. Marked “PROPERTY OF MINERAL WATER DISTRIBUTORS DUBLIN” around the neck—proper old Dublin pub memorabilia!
In good used vintage condition: no major cracks or chips, light age-related cloudiness/wear as expected (see photos), but displays really well. Stands about 30cm tall, perfect for a home bar, Irish history collection, or retro decor.
