Reeves & Sons Ltd Vintage Bottles, Liquid Stain & Dye Powder
A selection of Reeves & Sons Ltd London vintage bottles. Reeves & Sons was an English art supplies manufacturer founded by William Reeves in 1766. He was famous for inventing the soluble moist watercolour paint cake. I understand this company was a limited corporation from 1891 to 1976. The bottles I have are from approx 1950s/60s.
I have 9 bigger bottles (H11 cms) and 2 smaller bottles (5cms). A mixture of liquid stain and dye powder. See photos for content of bottles. Used for marquetry, wood, paper, tapestry, leather work.
