This is designed reclaimed timber furniture.

Each piece is made from reclaimed and recycled solid pine. Harvested from old pine shipping pallets and crates, the wood shows the knots, nail holes and natural imperfections that make every piece of furniture subtly one of a kind. The unique yesteryear finish is re-created through a series of multiple steps of hand brushing and polishing each piece of furniture with high quality materials to create a genuine aged patina.

Each piece is bench-built following furniture construction methods that date back to the 1800's. Most distinguishable are the surface panels which are carefully pieced together in a jig-saw type manner 'flotsam' or tongue and groove floating-panel system, whereby no glue is required between the surface joints. This method of construction re-creates an age old look, whilst allowing for timber settlement.
