Cadenza is a 1972 Merwede Cruiser, built in Dordrecht, Netherlands, originally designed as a sea-going vessel. She has been in the same ownership since 2001 and has spent over two decades cruising the Irish waterways.

Her extensive sympathetic restoration and recommissioning was completed between 2022–2024, with a focus on preserving her classic character while renewing the systems required for comfortable and reliable cruising. Full restoration photographs and documentation are available.

She has remained afloat since restoration, has been regularly maintained and the engine has been started periodically.
