The CJR 14 Dory is renowned for its exceptional stability due to its unique “trimaran” hull design. This vessel has undergone a complete overhaul and deep modernization in 2025 (over 700 man-hours), using high-quality marine-grade materials.

1. Hull and Interior
Renovation: Full strip-down to the base. Repainted using the Hempel system: epoxy primer + 3 coats of marine paint.
Reinforcement: The hull sides have been reinforced to increase structural rigidity and durability.
Structure: New transom board made of high-quality marine plywood. Gunwale stringer installed with stainless steel corner inserts.
Deck: 5mm anti-slip aluminum checker plate installed on the bow.
Comfort: Brand new, heavy-duty folding seats in genuine leather (360-degree swivel).
2. Durability and Systems
Hardware: 100% of fasteners replaced with A4 Marine Grade stainless steel.
Deck Gear: New stainless steel railings and mooring cleats. High-strength PVC cockpit cover.
Electrical: New wiring, navigation lights, and control cables. New Deep Cycle battery, master switch, and heavy-duty cables.
Fuel System: 25L stationary tank with new hoses, check valves, and replaceable filter.
Performance: Two adjustable stainless steel trim tabs for superior stability.

Glazing: New impact-resistant polycarbonate windshield and enlarged, newly sealed cabin windows.
Cabin: Reinforced cabin structure with an opening roof hatch. Lockable cabin door for security.
Storage: New locker lids with stainless steel paddle latches (flush mount).
Utility: Anodized aluminum folding bracket for auxiliary motor. New anti-slip rubber matting on the floor.
4. Fishing Equipment
Integrated compass and fishfinder (depth sounder).
Two compact bait/fillet tables.

Fully galvanized frame. New wheel bearings, hub seals, and dust caps with grease nipples.
2 new rims + new heavy-duty tires (165/70 R 14 XL).
New jockey wheel, coupling head, and winch.
New fully removable wiring harness; stainless steel light and license plate brackets.
