52' Sagar Marine widebeam barge for off grid living

We purchased this beautiful barge from Riversdale boat yard Leitrim, in late 2024 after returning from living abroad. Prior to that it had two owners since being constructed.

Built in 1996 to a very high spec with detailed drawings and photo's documenting the boats construction and layout.

The carpentry throughout the boat is beautifully done as is the attention to detail with the fixtures, fittings, lighting and layout.

While living aboard we have made some sympathetic adjustments to make it more practical for modern day living.

Layout
Entering through the stable doors to the wheelhouse (which the top level can be removed for summer sailing) you have an engine bay below with a large amount of storage and all your mechanical systems to hand.

To the rear is a room with a toilet and handbasin which could be used as a spare bedroom or office.

To the front is an open plan sitting room come diner with 2 couches (1 a double sofa bed) stove, dining table for 6 people and a galley kitchen with plenty of storage.

This then leads to the main bedroom with vanity area, shower and toilet
