@polde
Hello, no problem I’m happy to answer any questions you have.
The engine is a lister 3 cylinder with a hydraulic gearbox. The previous owner of the boat put them in so I can’t say how old they are but I’ve had it on land for two years and given the engine a complete service this month (see ad details for brief description of parts changed). If you have concerns about the engine I can show you the work I’ve done and/or let you speak to my marine mechanic.
The engine is water cooled.
Majority of the rear seating and all of the stern flooring are easily removed. The front of the seat lifts out and there are hidden lids built into the top of the bench that are easy lifted. The stern floor is divided into 3 sections to enable access to the engine and weed clearance.
The steering easy, it’s completely undisturbed by the bench.
All gas supplies and fittings are new. This includes a bedroom heater, kitchen oven/ cooker, fridge. There’s also a gas powered generator that’s about 4 years old, but never used, had a service and new carburettor put in this month.
The boat was built in 1978. Original plate thickness was 6mm. A recent ultrasound with a marine surveyor discovered the thickness is currently at 4.7mm (not bad for a 48 year old if you ask me!). There’s no evidence of plate deterioration and I’ve put a lot of work into restoring and protecting the steelwork.
Yes of course the engine is a large consideration in a boat purchase. I’ve also taken the quality, liveability and rarity of the brand new interior into account in pricing. I hope I’ve answered your questions, please let me know if you have any more.

What kind of engine and type of gearbox are in it? How old are they and how many hours? Is the engine an air cooled or water cooled lister? How easy is it to remove the rear seating to access the propeller/weed clearance and to steer? Are the gas supply and fittings new? How old is the boat? What were the original plate thicknesses? Sorry for the questions, but most of the money is always in the engine

How much more were you thinking with the furnishings? 👀
