Life of the Right Rev. William Reeves: Lord Bishop of Down, Connor and Dromore by Lady Ferguson.

William Reeves (16 March 1815 – 12 January 1892) was an Irish antiquarian and the Church of Ireland Bishop of Down, Connor and Dromore from 1886 until his death. He was the last private keeper of the Book of Armagh and at the time of his death was President of the Royal Irish Academy.

Lady Mary Catherine Ferguson (1823–1905) was a prominent Irish author, biographer, and cultural figure who in the 1890s focused heavily on promoting her late husband Sir Samuel Ferguson's legacy. During this decade, she published his biography, Sir Samuel Ferguson in the Ireland of his day (1896), edited his works, and was active in promoting women's education at Alexandra College, Dublin.
