Stealthy, understated, lightweight, with dynamic styling and an aerodynamic profile, the Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLE 23 WTS Black Clincher Wheelset is the perfect race day addition to your bike. The 52 millimetre rim is stable and cuts through the wind with ease. Equally fast, ultra bladed straight pull spokes and an aero hub also add to this wheelset's wind cheating credentials. Aero does not mean these wheels are only good on the flat. This is a wheelset that is just as at home climbing as it is sprinting out of corners in a road race or triathlon. Using Mavic's renowned Exalith brake track, these wheels stop as fast as they accelerate. Spinning freely with an ISM internal design, which also reduces weight. A WTS wheel using Mavic's, 23 millimetre wide, Yksion GripLink and PowerLink tyres to offer exceptional grip and puncture protection.

These wheels look as fast as they ride and would look fantastic on either a road, time trial or triathlon bike. A robust wheelset, that uses a mixture of Maxtal and 12K carbon fibre in the rim, as well as strong aluminium hubs.

Exalith is a Mavic designed braking surfacing that has been used on a number of their top of the range, performance wheels. This material, compared to standard braking tracks, offers better brake pad wear, improved stopping in the wet and predictable braking. This wheelset is supplied with specific Mavic Exalith brake pads, for enhanced braking performance.

Steel spokes are bladed for addition aerodynamic effect and are held in place by, easy to maintain, aluminium front and rear brass ABS nipples. 16 spokes in the front and 20 in the rear are bladed to keep everything spinning smoothly.

Mavic's WTS tyre system uses a tyre specifically designed for the wheel. The Mavic Yksion Pro GripLink and PowerLink tyres have been added to provide sublime grip, puncture protection and low rolling resistance in the dry as well as the wet. These are 700x23c tyres, ideal for racing yet also durable enough for the rigours of training.

Available in an all black colour scheme with understated Mavic Cosmic decals, sure to keep you riding fast under the radar.
