Vintage Rossin Record Bike Frame Racer Fixie

Vintage Rossin Record Racer frame from the mid 80's

Columbus SL tubing, Columbus dropouts and bottom bracket.

Size 55 c-c or 56 c-t - Medium/Large - suit someone 5'8"-6'ish
Rear wheel spacing 126mm, front wheel 100mm

I bought this frame from a guy in Belgium last year. His dad had bought it and raced it casually in the 1980s until it went into storage. Matching serial numbers on the frame and fork (see pictures)

It came to me with a few paint chips and rubs but no dents or rust. I started sanding back the paint chips, then decided to sand and paint the entire thing. But then... lock down ended and I was allowed to go the pub and I haven't touched it since.

It looks a little rough now but first person to view it will see its potential, a day or so of sanding it back and a respray and you'll have yourself a very, very nice frame indeed. Perfect to be restored or converted to a fixie.

If you don't know about Rossin then it's well worth googling them. They started in the 1970s, had their bikes ridden in the Olympics in the 1980s, then in the 1990s just disappeared. They were know for their very sexy bikes, very sexy advertising and mad paint jobs. It was the 80s after all I guess.
