Selling the rarely seen Ampeg SVT 6 Pro. Fantastic sounding amp and in good condition. Comes with the rack case.

@trawlerman: Yes the SVT 6 sounds huge. It has that classic Ampeg tone. Not quite the tube sound obviously, as it's a hybrid amp. But it can do a wonderful range of tones from warm, to fat to bright and snappy. The semi-parametric EQ works wonders in that regard. It's a bit heavy at 41lbs but not back breaking by any means and it is in perfect working order. You're more than welcome to try it out here.

I had an amp malfunction with my long serving Trace Elliot at the weekend and as it is of 1980s vintage I'm going to retire it.
I might be interested in your Ampeg SVT 6 pro and wonder if you can give me a little info, on it.
I had a very big sound from T.E. H500.Will the VST-6 match it? It is in good working order? Is it heavy to haul around? I'd be grateful if you could give me a run down on the Amp; Thanks, Trawlerman.
