Ludwig Vintage 17-Fret Irish Tenor Banjo – GDAE Setup – Original Case

For sale is a vintage Ludwig 17-fret tenor banjo, professionally set up in standard Irish tuning (GDAE).

This has been my session banjo for many years and has been played regularly at traditional Irish sessions. It has a bright, clear tone with plenty of volume and cuts through nicely in a session without being overly harsh.

Condition:
The banjo is in good vintage playing condition with the expected cosmetic wear for an instrument of this age. The original case shows plenty of external wear but still protects the instrument well. The banjo has been maintained as a player rather than a display piece. It’s been serviced a few times and could do with another one for a player to set up to their preference.
