First edition Tony Curtis autographed autobiography
In 1993 Tony Curtis was interviewed on the Late Late show and told the Irish nation that he would be in Easons of O Connell St. on Saturday to sign his autobiography. I was working in BTs at the time and ran up in my lunch hour but I was very disheartened when I saw the huge queue. He was just about to leave when I jumped over the ropes and presented him with his book to sign. He seemed a little surprised by this sudden apparition but happily conceded to sign by copy after I showered him with compliments.
