Caran dAche Supracolour Pencils (12 in a Metal Box)

Caran D’Ache once again show their expertise in the world of colour with their ‘Supracolor’ range. Their strength and highly pigmented colour creates a soft and subtle effect. These pencils have a really high breaking strength and give excellent coverage. With a range of up to 120 beautiful colours, it is really easy to find exactly the shade you need to create top quality watercolour pencil work.

One of the many great features with the Supracolor pencils is the fact that when the dry pigment is wet, the colour becomes more intense (in common with all aquarelles) but this brand has very little colour shift so the colour you put down remains the colour you wanted!

Use a brush to apply water to your dry picture to create beautiful wash effects. Alternatively you can use the pencils onto already wetted paper and watch as the colour suffuses the page.

Supracolor is perfectly colour matched with the Caran D’Ache Pablo range, which is permanent, so the two pencils can be used in conjunction with one another if you need water resistant pencils for detail. The Supracolor make a very good choice as a dry pencil too.
