Tony O'Malley A Personal Choice Crawford Municipal Art Gallery 28 July - 6 October 1994
Irish artist Tony O’Malley painted part-time while working with the Munster and Leinster Bank until the late 1950s. O’Malley moved to St Ives in Cornwall in 1960. His extensive body of work is concerned with the landscape, and the spirit of personal and folk history which it embodies. He returned to Kilkenny in 1990. This selection is the personal choice of the art critic Vera Ryan and was exhibited in the Crawford Gallery in 1994, the year after O'Malley was made Tsaoi. Very slim catalogue it is however very nice with high quality plates as seen. Some marks to covers still nice tight copy. Very scarce.
Can be posted for an extra fiver or collected from either Dundalk or Dublin City Centre.
