Candida Hofer Dublin IMMA Exhibition Catalogue 2006 Limited Edition, Good Used Condition

A copy of Candida Höfer: Dublin, the official catalogue published by the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) to accompany Höfer's exhibition of the same name, which ran at IMMA from 12 July to 1 October 2006.

This catalogue documents a body of work the photographer made during a working visit to Dublin in 2004, featuring interior photography of many of Dublin's major landmark buildings, including the National Library of Ireland, Marsh's Library, the Long Room in the Old Library of Trinity College, and the Great Hall and Chapel of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.

The catalogue contains full-colour plates alongside an essay by Caoimhín Mac Giolla Léith, curator and critic, and an interview between Candida Höfer and Karen Sweeney.

Höfer is known for her meticulously composed, large-scale colour images of empty architectural interiors. She represented Germany at the 2003 Venice Biennale and is one of the most celebrated figures of the Düsseldorf School of photography.
