In compiling this book, Derek Garvey asked virtually all the people, who had been involved in the creation of the most outstanding and memorable ads in Irish advertising over the past 50 years, to choose their favourites. In addition, this book contains a selection of significant ads from the first half of the twentieth century the only stipulation being that the ads had to have been created in Ireland.
