Beautiful vintage wooden armchair with a distinctive curved barrel back, slender vertical spindles and lovely warm-toned wood.
A really unusual statement chair with lots of character. Features curved arms, decorative detailing to the legs and frame, and an upholstered seat with traditional stud/nailhead trim.
The wooden frame is solid and presents very well for its age. The seat upholstery is marked and would benefit from cleaning or reupholstering, which is reflected in the price. It would look fabulous professionally recovered in a contemporary fabric.
Ideal as an occasional chair, desk chair, bedroom chair or restoration/upcycling project.
