Excellent for elderly needing assistance with sit to standing position, those with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, motor neurone or any other physical or neurological problems blemish affecting sit to stand ability or need to rest at times during day due to fatigue levels.
Chair operated by hand remote control, leg rest and head can be brought into position so person is lying supine with legs elevated and back of chair almost flat, a very comfortable resting position.
Due to the dual motor operation, person can also sit upright or with back at whatever level of recline they line whilst feet are elevated, great if ankles swell due to dependency or cardiovascular issues.
If some help is required to get from sitting to standing then the chair can be utilised to rise person up to standing. Chair whilst it would benefit from upholstery cleaning or being steam cleaned possibly, it really probably needs to be reupholstered, as it is well worn in parts. The electric motor is working well in all directions. This chair was a life saver for someone in my family, it was used every day, whether to just sit and watch tv, to rest after expending a lot of energy, or rest from fatigue felt from her neurological illness. It was a neat, comfortable chair, that really worked for her. I would be happy for this chair to go to someone else who happens to be in need of this kind of assistance and would find it valuable to them and would be happy to provide it free to them. It is a heavy chair and would require at least x2 strong people and possibly a van or jeep to take it away.
