Search up fake bank of Ireland transfer scam and you’ll see all about it

He’s on a brand new account making full-price offers on every expensive device he comes across. He doesn’t seem to have any specific preference and is just looking for something high-value. He also doesn’t intend on paying.

The scam is that they arrange to meet you in person and use a fake BOI banking app to make it look like they’ve sent the money. The app shows the payment as if it has been made and says it will be processed within 24 hours. They then take the device and leave, but the payment will never actually be sent
