Meindl Bernina 2 GTX Waterproof Boots

These shoes fit more like a size 4-4.5 UK (37-37.5 EU), which is a foot approximately 23-23.5 cm long. Meindl Bernina 2 GTX Comfort Fit Lady, 5 UK (38 EU), from the German company Meindl, known for its solid workmanship, perfect for autumn and winter, in perfect condition. Cost over €330 new. I recently bought them from Adverts, but they turned out to be half a size too small (Meindl runs their size chart too small).
The shoes are very little used.
The Meindl Bernina Lady 2 GTX womens hill walking boot by Meindl is part of the Comfort-Fit range, designed for hikers with wider feet (it has a similar technical specification as the well known Borneo). Hand constructed from Nubuck leather with a GORE-TEX lining, the Bernina is lightweight yet robust and durable in all weather conditions.
The Comfort-Fit footbed ensures more room at the front of the boot with a narrow heel giving a spacious but secure fit. Made from cork with a fleece covering the footbed gives stability and unmatched comfort maximising your hiking experience.
A Memory Foam System (MFS) allows for a personalised fit. Using a variety of different foams that mold to the foot using body temperature, the boot is excellently padded providing support and reducing pressure and pinching. The addition of a Digafix lacing system further enhances the fit, enabling for easy adjusting of the laces, beneficial when hill-walking.
The Bernina Lady 2 GTX has superb traction on all terrains thanks to the Meindl Multigrip 3 Alpin Light sole (developed with Vibram) making it the perfect choice for rugged ground.
These shoes were recently professionally and thoroughly refreshed, gently hand washed twice in lukewarm water with a mild detergent to remove any unpleasant odors, then rinsed several times in lukewarm water. After slowly drying outside (no tumble drying), they were fully waxed and then sprayed inside with an anti-fungal product from the German brand Scholl. They have not been worn since.
