Doubt that's so people put wider tyres on there cars all the time. The difference is 10mm in width and 5mm in radius. If Mazda tolerance are so tight they shouldn't be making cars and stick to making space ships. This is coming from a previous Mazda 3 owner who had 215/45/18 on and replaced them with 225/45/18....

I have to cancel i checked with mazda the wheels i need have to be 205,55,R16 because the side walls are 10 mllimeters larger than my existing tyres they be rubbing of brake lines and danaging the wheel arches especially on the back or turning corners sorry and they will fail the nct sorry pal ive no choice but to leave it
