This guitar is part of one of Yamaha’s Custom Shop series dating from ‘99 to early 2004. The LS500 and LS400 in Japan were labeled as the LS20 and LS10 for export. Why they labeled the export models different than the local Japanese market is a mystery - all had solid Sitka Spruce tops with the LS10 being paired to solid mahogany back and sides
