Your chance to own a piece of American history, americana if you wish. Built in Chicago USA. All original. Plays well, straight off the bat. Not electric and no pickup etc included. No case included. Probably the cheapest USA guitar on Adverts currently. I'm not going to lie: I bought this in adverts some time ago from a gentleman. Didn't know at the time but he had this well underpriced, so I got a bargain and the reason I'm not looking to make a killing in it. It was an unwanted gift. I have to say the sound (low-fi, primitive) no frills, has grown on me and I've found myself reaching for many times over my Gibson, Taylor etc. Not surprising, in the States, anecdotally, some of these guitars are starting to pull value as nostalgia pieces, with the younger generation modding and adding pups and upgrades. Holds tune really well. Would be ideal also for slide/dobro, has reinforced neck; you could walk across the neck on this. It needs strings, it needs a bit of TLC, just mostly it needs playing. Do your own investigations. I'm unsure as to wood, dates, construction etc, but who'd care at this price; it's only the price of a nice Chinese takeaway and a couple of bud with the lads. There's a great smell out of it. You know what I mean if you've followed me this far!
