The Ibanez is an RG7321 which is a core model not an entry level, these were designed as solid platform for upgrading, I’ve he’d the bridge pickup switched out for a Seymour Duncan distortion which is a beauty as it’s not too hot, these myth about a lot of modern metal is the pickups need to be super hot but that’s not actually true, as modern metal is played so downtuned hot pickups sound awful as they go fuzzy so the idea is turn down the heat and let the tuning do the work, it’s currently been really nicely set up in B standard or drop A which is E standard with the extra low string so normal tuning is still there

Just out of curiosity what kind of music would you be playing on the electric? Only reason I ask I have 2 possible guitars I can move on, one is an Ibanez 7 string that’s had a huge overhaul (pickups, wiring, full neck/frets job, and complete refinish all done by pro luthier) and I also have a Dean Dime razorback V, these are awesome rare and now extremely collectible guitars that sound and play unbelievable but I have two very similar guitars
