Martin D18 1975 Vintage.
A really nice D18 that had been played a lot in its 51 years of life and is as a result open and mature sounding.
This has had some pretty extensive and expensive work carried out to give it a second life.
The bridge was changed from its previously shaved down bridge (included) and it was repositioned slightly to correct the common intonation problem in many 70s Martin's from misplaced bridges.
The bridge plate was also repaired, the neck was reset and it has now a set of stainless steel frets. All in all this very normal and inevitable work on a vintage guitar was done very well and tastefully and the result is a mature, open instrument that is ready for another 50 years.
The sprice top has some really nice crazing and crackling in the finish, just as you'd expect from a played vintage instrument.
It plays with low action and plenty of saddle to play with. It's also ready for a pickup to be fitted.
Comes with era accurate hard case.
