Martin D-18 Vintage Series

Lovely Martin D18 V from 1994. From the fantastic vintage series that reproduces pre-war Martin features very well.

Same spec as the reimagined series but with a soft V neck, long saddle and slightly narrower string spacing.

This guitar has benefitted from being played in over its years. As a result its tone is open with that strong, fundamental Martin tone. There are some minor dings and scratches, normal for a guitar of this age that has been played.

There is one repaired and cleated crack above the sound hole. This was damaged and repaired long ago and is completely stable and has been for a long time. Photo of cleats included.

The D18 is, like the D28, one of THE iconic acoustic instruments since the birth of the acoustic guitar, used by everyone from Bob Dylan to Kurt Cobain.

Spruce over mahogany produces a warm, balanced tone perfect for most styles really.
