Atkin D21 Custom

2015 Atkin D-21 Custom, in excellent condition. An absolutely stunning take on the iconic pre-war Martin models of the 1930's by Canterbury based luthier Atkin. Atkin is probably best known for making guitars for artists such as Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello and Graham Coxon. Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides with stunning turquoise inlays and detailing. 

LR Baggs M1 Active pickup has been replaced with K+K Sound Pure Mini. Includes OHSC.
 
Excellent guitar with beautiful clarity and tone especially in mid and upper range.
Bought in 2022 for 4,000 and it has only improved since then as played in. Only reason I am selling is that I'm looking for a bigger dreadnought for playing Irish traditional music, this guitar is more suited to a style similar to a singer-songwriter.
A rare custom handmade gem that will likely go quickly.
