This piano-style accordion, featuring a right-hand piano keyboard, is a highly versatile 34 Key/80 bass model (5 rows of 16 buttons), offering nearly the full utility of a large accordion but in a lighter, mid-sized body—absolutely ideal for traditional Irish folk music, adult learners, or seasoned players.
Manufactured in the Saxony region of Germany in the 1950s (Original Factory Serial No. 28999 stamped on the back) most likely 1955.
Originally imported to UK through the famous Bell Musical Instruments Ltd (Distributor Serial: S 13313) and later professionally serviced in the late 1980s, by renowned specialist J. Tamburro in Birmingham, it has been played sparingly since and kept in long-term careful dry storage, wrapped in blankets, in its original case. It plays, feels and sounds as good as it did back then, with no missing or sticky keys, sucken bass buttons or ill sounding notes. Bellows and leather straps in great condition.
